MATERNITY: STEVE & ROXY

Steve and Roxy contacted me to ask if I'd be willing to do a last minute maternity shoot for them. Their baby was due a week before mine and it was really lovely to be able to capture someone else in the blossoming stage of their pregnancy, whilst in between shots complaining about aching backs, swollen ankles and lack of sleep!!!!

Roxy was nervous that she'd look big and swollen, but I think we can all agree that she looks beautiful!

And Steve was nervous that he'd look awkward...but this shoot confirms, once again for me, that when you let people 'be', and you let them relax, you don't force poses or fake smiles, you truly can capture the essence of their love and togetherness - no matter HOW uncomfortable someone thinks they are on camera.

They truly are a gorgeous family - and no doubt their little girl will only knit them together tighter than ever before.
