MATERNITY: Andrea

Ok Ok OKAY...

This is mightily delayed... My bad.

This gorgeous (and incredibly stylish) couple were photographed at the end of last year and they are now proud parents to their sweet baby boy.

Andrea dragged her husband along, but despite his reluctance (!!!) I think (I hope!) he ended up having fun and was, in my opinion, quite the natural!!

I absolutely love maternity photoshoots. Andrea and I discussed throughout the shoot that pregnancy is just such a unique and magical (minus the swelling, discomfort, nausea etc etc etc...!) time - and also so unifying. I've always marvelled, when I've been pregnant, that there are women all over the world going through this extraordinary thing all together. And we've been doing it since the beginning of time. And somehow it made me feel connected to other women, not only around me, but globally. Something so powerful in that.

Anyway. These guys are high school sweethearts, they are youthful, full of fun and laughter and comfort in one another, so familiar - so beautiful. What a joy to capture.
